Jessica Casey, PMHNP-BC
I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner who is naturally curious and highly analytical. But I also believe we’ve gotten a little too good at turning normal human experiences into problems that we think need fixing. Sometimes there’s a pattern worth digging into, a diagnosis that brings clarity, or a medication change that makes a world of difference. Other times, there isn’t a perfect explanation. Humans are complicated, inconsistent, and inherently a little messy.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in that reality. We’ll look at the science, connect the dots that are worth connecting, and use medication thoughtfully when it can genuinely help without expecting it to make you immune to being human. I want you to understand the reasoning behind your treatment, feel comfortable questioning it, and leave with a plan that makes sense for you, not just your diagnosis.
Care, at a Glance
AGES 5 AND UP
I see children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults.
Providing psychiatric care across different ages and stages of life means I get to see you through all your life experiences.
WHAT I TREAT
I see those with anxiety, ADHD, depression, autism, bipolar disorder, OCD. PTSD, and much more. I try to not limit treatment to a list because there are too many flavors of the rainbow to list out!
COLLABORATION
I prioritize the concept of Therapy + Psychiatry, Together. Why would it be any other way?
This leads to more comprehensive care. They often have insight into who you are and I value that input!
WHAT I OFFER
I focus on comprehensive evaluations (not to be confused with formal neuropsychological evaluations though), medication management for mental health disorders, and education.
